My Life

Forlorn I stay here in my room
My life is like a broken dreams;
For me, life’s a burden of gloom,
For things aren’t the way it seems.

Seeking a better life to live
Here I’m on the road, once again;
But the world has nothing to give,
To sustain loneliness and pain.

If only I could turn back time
To the olden days of childhood –
When there’s no worry and no crime
How I wish to hold it for good!

Death, for me, would be a blessing
Than spending my life in disguise;
For I know I’ll be there living
Eternally, in Paradise.
